Registration, training & clinical practice

Initial training:

• Registration for my Child & Adolescent Counselling and Parent-Child Therapy qualification is with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) - Registered Member No. 108794.

• My clinical practice is governed by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. 

• My counselling training was with the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE). 

Further training:

• Registered Circle of Security-Parenting™ Practitioner with Circle of Security International (COSI).

• Gottman Method Couples Therapy - Level 1, Level 2 (in training) (The Gottman Institute).

• Theraplay® Foundational Practitioner in Training (The Theraplay® Institute (TTI) and Theraplay® UK).

• DMM Model (attachment-based procedures) - Student Practitioner, MSc Attachment Theory, Research, and Practice (University of Roehampton).

Clinical practice:

• Regular Clinical Supervision as per BACP guidelines.

• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Certificate for practice with Adults and Children.

• Professional Liability Insurance which includes Professional Indemnity.

• Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as the Data Controller and Data Protection Officer.

My practice is governed by English Law.
